Realtors and Brokers
To find a trusted realtor or real estate broker be sure, first of all, that they are a member of PROFECO (the Mexican Consumer Protection Agency) and/or of AMPI (the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals) which is affiliated with the United States’ National Association of Realtors (NAR) and with the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA).
A great resource for finding a trustworthy realtor or broker is Livtopia. Livtopia is a trusted Buyer's Representative, or Buyer's Agent, and can be a big help, without adding cost to the real estate transaction. A Buyer's Agent is your representative and allows you to look at properties from whatever real estate agency you'd like, but who will look after your interests throughout the entire procedure.
