Here is a list of all that you may want to do or organize before you move.
- Passport
- Visa/immigration documents
- Property documents
- Birth Certificate
- Health and Travel Insurance
- Bank Cards and details
- Travelers’ checks
- Address book with all your important addresses and phone numbers
- Filled prescriptions for the duration of your stay for any medications you’re taking (and anti-nausea, anti-diarrheals and your favorite cold medicines in case you fall ill while away)
- Continuation of pension payments
- Have you re-directed your mail?

- Clothes for a warm climate
- Sunglasses
- Camera and extra film or memory cards and connecting USB cable
- A sun hat
- Sunscreen
- A rain coat
- Family photos
